The School of Medicine has a relatively simple governance structure. The Head of School is supported by Associate Head (Learning & Teaching), Associate Head (Student Affairs), Associate Head (Years 1-3), Associate Head (Hobart Clinical School), Associate Head (Launceston Clinical School) and Associate Head (Rural Clinical School). There are three key committees:

  • School Executive Committee - Chaired by the Head of School
  • Leaning & Teaching Committee - Chaired by the Assoc Head (Learning & Teaching)
  • Research Committee - Chaired by the Assoc Head (Research)

The complex degree programs offered by the School have their own devolved governance structures; each with representation at the Executive level.
